As a Certified Usability Analyst (2007) and User Experience Architect I develop and execute effective strategies for clients that incorporate their business objectives, interactive best practices and user research.

My interest for user experience lies in conducting usability research on websites, intranets, software applications, mobile/tablet applications and other devices. My strength lies in uncovering user insights then taking those insights and enhancing an existing experience or developing a new one. I am motivated by creating useful, intuitive experiences that affect people’s lives in a positive way.

With a background in design and web development, I smoothly transitioned into user experience/information architecture several years ago and received my usability analyst certification in 2007. With my technical knowledge, design and development experience, I bring a well-rounded and comprehensive perspective and am able to articulate complex usability issues in a manner that both clients and team members are able to understand.

User Experience offerings include: Product evaluation, design research, interviews, user and client strategy and discovery sessions, usability analysis, cognitive walkthroughs, observations, system evaluation, concept testing, usability testing (test creation, moderating, reporting) persona development, scenario development, information architecture (detailed site maps, wireframes), navigation structures, process/system and user flow documentation, prototyping, strategic recommendations.

In addition to my user experience offerings, I consult for clients who are working to establish internal departmental processes and procedures in the interactive/digital landscape.I also help clients evaluate what it will take for them to create a better product – from choosing the types of research to conduct to building an internal team or hiring an agency/firm.

I have more than ten years of interactive experience working with Fortune 500, middle market, eCommerce, non-profit, and startup clients in a variety of industries including: consumer packaged goods, medical, healthcare, consumer products, retail, automobile, government, education and more. Throughout my career I have developed websites (B2C and B2B), content management systems, intranets, mobile applications, desktop applications, promotional micro-sites, and Facebook promotions for numerous clients such as UPMC, Nestlé, Toyota, PPG, Del Monte, Quaker Steak & Lube®, Clarion University, Point Park University, Highmark, Oncology Nursing Society, The Children’s Institute, American Eagle, Heinz, Heinz Endowments, ZonePerfect, Insight Financial, OneCoast, Royal Caribbean, GNC, Hedstrom, Mylan Pharmaceuticals and Duquesne Capital Management.
